The world’s most popular tourist attractions are all very beautiful and unique in their own way. They pull millions of visitors around the globe into their orbit every year. However, ranking the world’s top 10 tourist attraction is always a tough job.

Many organizations and publications have been publishing the top 10 list every year so that it gets easier for the tourists who faces difficulty in choosing which place to travel. In this article, data of Forbes, TripAdvisor, Travel + leisure and Travel Supermarket have been taken into account while creating the top 10 list.

According to the latest reports of 2018, the attractions of Italy proved to be extremely popular among the travelers this year. Rome’s Colosseum is the world’s most popular attraction for 2018 based on traveler bookings and ticket sells. It is followed by the Vatican Museums in the second and Venice’s iconic Canal Grande in the tenth spot.

It is popularly known as the home of the Pope. It hosts several museums which reflects the history and accomplishments of mankind over the last 2000 year.
